I was playing my bass about a year or two ago and experimenting with some chords and started writing a song based on the style of 'Separator' by Radiohead. I recorded some shabby electronic drums on my Roland TD-4 and wrote some lyrics and left in on the shelf. Flash forward to today, quarantined inside a house in the suburbs of a small Belgium city. I finally completed the song to my liking. I imagined this is the kind of song someone would sing about somebody whom they lost to cancer. I guess I wanted to write a tragical ambiguous story. So there we go.
